Lead Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Lead Internal Auditor to join our client in Doha, Qatar. This strategic role is responsible for overseeing internal audit operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal control systems.


In this role you will be a member of the Group Internal Audit Team and reports to the Chief Internal Auditor.



Duties & responsibilities:

Independently perform/ lead complex operational and financial audits of allocated business and risk areas in accordance with the IIA standards.

Assist in the annual audit planning process by performing effective risk assessments.

Conduct effective risk-based planning of audits to identify and scope in high-risk areas and de-scope lower risk areas and prepare Risk & Control Matrix (RCM) and Audit Program.
