Lead Special Process Engineer - Finishing & Plating

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the special process lines (including alodine, bead blasting, E-polish, chemical polish, anodizing, chemical cleaning, texturing, electro‑less nickel plating, passivation etc.), DI water and waste water plants. Work in conjunction with production (Machining, Polishing, Assembly etc.) and plan to deliver quality products to customers meeting all requirements.
• Work independently and manage team members for equipment setup, plating/special process operations and documentation. Troubleshoot problems for equipment and part manufacturing issues. Control of chemicals both in process tanks and in chemical storage. Manage process/ chemicals control it through SPC charts as per control plan, WI, FMEA etc.
• Perform essential chemistry lab techniques including vacuum/fractional distillation, chemical extraction, and fundamental gas chromatography. Possess experience in operating the essential lab instrumentation, such as TLC, FT-IR, ...
