As the Lead Technical Artist, you will manage and guide a skilled team, overseeing the technical art for both live games and new games in development. The role requires strong managerial skills, strategic planning, a solid technical background, and hands‑on collaboration across departments to ensure optimal game performance and excellent visuals.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement the “Unity layer” linking art and animation with the programmers’ codebase.
Construct new game features within Unity, including Unity UI, following internal technical workflow.
Write custom C# components for complex visual elements.
Optimise existing and new features.
Create animations, particle effects, and custom shaders.
Lead and mentor a team of 2 experienced Technical Artists...
