Overview

The Lead Workday Extend Engineer is the technical owner of the Workday Extend platform and serves as the enterprise authority for designing, delivering, and governing custom applications built on Extend. This role partners with senior functional, security, integration, and architecture leaders to solve highly complex business problems while ensuring solutions align with Workday’s delivered capabilities and long-term roadmap. The Lead Engineer defines standards, architecture patterns, and governance for Extend development and is accountable for solution quality, security, and sustainability.
