About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Access and Flow Manager, the Leader, Patient Flow Operations is responsible for nursing administration and the coordination of safe, efficient patient care services within the facility. The role includes ensuring staffing levels are adequate to meet patient census, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating all hospital and bed utilization activities in the absence of hospital administration.
The Leader will work collaboratively and consultatively with patients/clients, families, management, staff, physicians, community partners, and service providers to apply strategic and analytical thinking to address challenges, with the ultimate goal of high quality, safe, and cost‑effective services that support the patient experience and outcomes.
