Mō te tūka | The role


As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Viticulture based in our Department of Wine, Food and Molecular Biosciences team, you’ll contribute to world‑class teaching, research, and student supervision. You’ll teach across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes—including supporting delivery of the Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology in both Lincoln and at Huazhong Agriculture University in Wuhan, China.


A key component of this role is teaching in person at our Joint Institute in Wuhan, China for up to 16 weeks each year, delivered as two four‑week blocks in each semester. The University covers travel, accommodation, and approved business‑related expenses during these periods.


Some tasks of the role include:

  • Delivering teaching in WINE201, WINE301 and other viticulture courses

  • Permanent full-time Postsecondary Teachers
