Introduction

The above vacancy exists within the Legal Services department and reports to the Senior Legal Advisor. The purpose of this role is to provide legal services and support to the company, as well as play a support role to the Legal Services General Manager. The ideal candidate will be someone who has successfully completed an LLB degree, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as well as a minimum of 2 years of post-articles experience.

Key performance areas:

• Supervise Copyright Infringement, dispute Resolution and general litigation.
• Contract negotiation, drafting and vetting and management.
• Collections (Debtors Book and Tenants).
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, of which at least 2 years should have been in a senior or supervisory role.
• 2 years post articles litigation and commercial experience in a law firm and general contract work.
• 1 year compliance/risk management experience...
