Legal Counsel/Attorney III

Description:

Responsible for providing general support to attorneys and legal team.

Assists team by researching necessary areas to analyze legal issues.

Proficiently works with Corporate Lawyers in areas such as litigation, real estate, bankruptcy, loan documentation, contract drafting, leasing, foreclosure.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

" Under the direction of an attorney, resolves routine legal issues.

" Researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties and constitutions.

" Researches and analyzes legal codes to prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, etc.

" May lead and direct the work of others.

" Performs other related duties as assigned.
