MAIN FOCUS AND MISSION:
Management of local Legal matters. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal and Compliance of Nihon Servier Co., Ltd.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the instruction of the Head of Legal and Compliance:
•Consultation on various legal issues and solution proposal (including legal consultation of the business schemes, seal management)
•Contract review (Japanese and English)
•Engagement and supervision of tasks outsourced to external law firms, appropriate collaboration with external law firms.
•Litigation handling together with external law firms (Note: the Legal Manager will not represent Nihon Servier in the litigation cases), other legal support in dispute resolutions
•Corporate secretary matters (including shareholders' meetings, corporate registration updates) with support from external professionals (e.g. law firm, judicial scrivener)
