Licensing Technical Administration Officer
Reports To
Environmental Health Manager (Food, Health & Safety and Licensing)
Job Purpose
To ensure the Council meets its obligations under various legislation to Licence, Permit, Provide Consent to persons, premises and vehicles.
Principal Accountabilities
- To receive and process all license and related applications received within target times and in accordance with laid down procedures. Applications include:
- Animal Welfare
- Hackney Carriage & Private Hire
- House to House collections
- Gambling Act
- Licensing Act
- Pavement Permits & Pavement Licences
- Scrap Metal Dealers Act
- Sex Shops
- Street Collections
- Street Trading
- Any other licences as directed
To receive and respond to customers enquiries in accordance with corporate procedures.
