Opportunity Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced actuarial professional with strong leadership capabilities and deep technical expertise to play a key role in driving actuarial excellence, business performance, and strategic decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified FASSA Actuary (Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa) essential
- Minimum of 7 years actuarial experience within the Life Insurance industry
- Proven leadership experience with at least 2 or more direct reports
- Strong experience in life valuations, reserving, pricing, capital modelling, IFRS 17, and risk management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop actuarial talent
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide actuarial oversight across key life insurance functions
