Lived Experience Worker

Join our brand new multidisciplinary mental health team in the Northern Gold Coast! While driving high-quality, person-centred care across Open Minds’ Medicare Mental Health Services, our centres offer assessment, triage, warm referrals, immediate and short-medium term support for people with varying levels of need, including those in crisis.

As a Lived Experience Worker, you’ll draw on your own lived or living experience of mental health challenges and recovery to provide compassionate, trauma-informed support. Your unique insights will help foster trust, inspire hope and promote person-centred care. You'll be a vital part of a diverse and welcoming team that is committed to fostering growth, both for our consumers and for you.

A personal lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery or caring for a family member with mental health challenges, is an essential requirement for this role.
