Job Description
Plan and coordinate logistics activities, including inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Ensure goods are delivered on time and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure that stock is available as needed. Use data and reporting tools to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and avoid stockouts.
Transportation Management: Oversee transportation schedules, negotiate rates with carriers, and ensure that shipments are timely and cost-effective. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth delivery processes.
Supply Chain Optimization: Work with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and improve logistics processes, aiming to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
