Machinist

Oxford Solutions is working with a precision manufacturing client to hire a Senior CNC Machinist for a direct hire, onsite opportunity. This role is ideal for a highly skilled Class A Machinist who thrives in a high-mix, low-volume environment and can independently manage complex setups, programming, and process improvements. This individual will also serve as a technical leader and mentor on the shop floor.

Responsibilities:

• Program complex components using Okuma IGF control systems


• Set up and operate Okuma Multus B300 and B400 multi-axis machines to tight tolerances (±.001")


• Create, edit, and optimize G & M code programs for efficiency and repeatability


• Design and implement custom fixtures, jigs, and workholding solutions


• Develop and maintain setup sheets, tooling strategies, and program documentation


• Perform first article inspections and in-process quality checks
