Opportunity Description
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Machinist in Mesa, Arizona for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite 2nd shift position supports precision machining operations in a production environment. The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining quality and safety standards while producing metal components to exact tolerances.
Required Skills
- 5 years of CNC machining experience in a production environment
- Experience setting up and running CNC lathes and mills
- Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
- Ability to adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to machine quality parts
- Experience inspecting parts for conformance using gauges, calipers, and micrometers
