MAINTENENCE STORE EXECUTIVE

Purpose of the Role

To ensure uninterrupted plant operations by maintaining optimal inventory of maintenance spares, consumables, and tools through effective store management, control systems, and coordination with maintenance and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels of all maintenance spares, consumables, and critical parts.
• Ensure proper classification of items (Mechanical / Electrical / Utilities / Instruments).
• Define and monitor Minimum, Maximum, and Reorder Levels.
• Avoid stock-outs of critical spares and overstocking of non-moving items.

2. Material Receipt & Inspection

• Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO) and Delivery Challans.
• Coordinate with Quality / Maintenance team for inspection and approval.
• Ensure proper documentation (GRN – Goods Receipt Note).
