What the role is

R&D plays an important role in contributing to MND’s vision of creating an Endearing Home, a Distinctive Global City for all Singaporeans. It is essential in future proofing Singapore’s development through research, innovation and enterprise programmes across domains such as Urban Solutions and Sustainability (USS), Manufacturing, Trade and Connectivity (MTC), Human Health and Potential (HHP), and Smart Nation and Digital Economy (SNDE). The R&D division works closely with statutory boards, government agencies, research partners (including IHLs, institutes and industry) to conceptualise plans and drive implementation.

What you will be working on

• Support R&D initiatives and programmes for the Urban Solutions and Sustainability Domain (USS) in the RIE ecosystem, by collaborating with the National Research Foundation, USS and I&E agencies, to move solutions from research to deployment and commercialization.
