Purpose of the Respiratory Care Manager:
Manages the respiratory services throughout the Patient Care Division and coordinates assigned clinical and administrative operations in the units.

Responsibilities of the Respiratory Care Manager:

+ The Respiratory Care Manager will promote interdisciplinary partnerships and consultation of hospital staff and health care team through participation in committees and related activities to ensure appropriate care and services for patients and their families.
+ Plan and implement a system to motivate staff development, including effective clinical orientation and continuing evaluation, including models of participative governance, for the cardiopulmonary technicians.
+ The Respiratory Care Manager will recommend or implement appropriate changes in patient care.
