Managing Quantity Surveyor

General Description

Leads a team of Quantity Surveyors across multiple projects. Oversee commercial deliverables, supports claims and variations, and ensures consistency in commercial practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Quantity Surveyors and Senior QSs.
• Manage allocation of QS resources to projects.
• Review and validate cost estimates, BOQs, and claims.
• Ensure adherence to commercial SOPs and project objectives.
• Provide input into project reviews and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with Contracts Manager and Commercial Manager on high-risk items.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s in quantity surveying or civil engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including team leadership.
• Deep knowledge of commercial construction practices and cost control.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and projects concurrently.
