Job Description

Responsibilities of the Meat Cutter:
-Meat cutters use an array of sharp knives and tools that they must keep sharp, clean, and strict about cleanliness as mandated by the company. Cutters prepare raw materials and trim them to the desired specifications/yield targets.
– Assure all products are properly cut as they are received into the cutting area.
– Take care and caution when handling open exposed product
– Assure product grades are handled n a manner such not to cause misbranding
– Perform random quality inspection on the product during cutting task
– Portion product according to the product specification
– Assure proper trimming and portioning is being done to meet standard yields
