Job Overview

Mechanical Design Engineer at Sensormatic Solutions, responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of textile-integrated RFID sensor assemblies and related production fixtures in a lab-to-production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of RFID textile sensor assemblies using Creo CAD software.
• Perform tolerance stack-ups, material stack-up development, and mechanical interface design.
• Develop production fixtures, equipment interfaces, and mechanical solutions to ensure repeatable manufacturing and robust field performance.
• Apply data-driven analysis using Minitab to study variation, validate process capability, and guide improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement efforts using Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt preferred).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to transition concepts into high-volume production.
