Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a specialist design and manufacturing company to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Mansfield-based facility.
Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer include:
Detailed design of new products from the concept stage through to production Conceptual design, assembly / sub-assembly and detailed drawings, calculations where necessary, generation of Design File, BOM’s. Redevelopment of existing products in order to enhance the design, cut costs and consider ease of manufacture Appreciation of methods of manufacture Appreciation of different material properties and basic engineering processes Project management from concept to production. Implementation of field trials. Testing of prototypes. Liaison with customers, engineers and shop floor staff We are keen to speak with Mechanical Design Engineers
