Mechanical Engineer

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the team of a leading EPC Midstream company in Houston, TX. The candidate will be responsible for all mechanical engineering project deliverables for top Midstream Operators across the US. Their work will encompass both greenfield and brownfield projects. Key responsibilities include performing mechanical equipment sizing calculations, tracking data sheets/specifications, conducting technical evaluations, and executing pipe/valve specifications, pipe stress analysis, and hydrotest calculations/pressure tests. Additionally, they will handle HDD, hydrofracture, bending and wall thinning, buoyancy, hydrotest, and API calculations. The role involves working on pipeline and meter stations, liquid pump stations, and gas compressor stations. They will be performing calculations and working with mechanical equipment such as: pumps, compressors, meters, meter skids, tanks, valves and heat exchangers.
