Mechanical Estimator

Do you have at least 2 years of hands-on estimating experience? Can you read and interpret AutoCAD / Solidworks 2D and 3D drawings? Do you have advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Excel? Do you have experience with Mechanical Assemblies? Our manufacturing client is looking for a customer orientated Mechanical Estimator for their Cambridge office, to join their Sales Department on a full time permanent basis. This position is particularly focused on compiling mechanical and project costing proposals to be submitted to their customers. This position plays a pivotal role in the Sales Department and will involve both Pre and Post sales activities such as, drawing and layout analysis, requesting and compiling supplier quotations, development of costing on non-standard conveying assemblies, and maintaining an accurate data base of estimating templates.
