Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and develop detailed 3D models and drawings for mechanical systems components and assemblies.
• Perform design calculations (stress analysis, tolerance stack‑up, DFMA, etc.) to ensure reliability and functionality.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for components and systems.
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, favourable terms and timely delivery.
• Understand project requirements, specifications and constraints to deliver cost‑effective and efficient design solutions.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant international standards, codes and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications and reports.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical drawings and specifications for production.
