We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Waste Team at Oxford Waste Treatment Works (OX4 4XU).
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical maintenance technician to join a close-knit team which varies in age and ability, all performing at a high level. This role offers great learning potential with the ability to cross-skill into other disciplines.
As the successful candidate, your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our waste treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods.
You will also investigate plant failures and carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions to the process. Provide technical advice, referring to up-to-date technical knowledge, and provide training or support for technical trainees if required.
