Opportunity Description
This Med-Surg RN opening is located in Kansas City, MO at a 585+ bed hospital that holds a Level I Trauma Center designation and serves as a Primary Stroke Center, with specialty care areas including a Chest Pain Center and Breast Care Center.
The role. The Medical-Surgical Unit cares for adult patients presenting with a broad range of medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurologic conditions — including general, urology, and vascular post-surgical patients — offering nurses meaningful variety and ongoing opportunities to expand clinical knowledge. Patients on this unit tend to be more acutely complex than a typical Med/Surg population, and the unit primarily manages stable trauma patients without drip medications.
