Medical Assistant

FGV Plantations (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support healthcare services for estate workers.

Responsibilities

• Administer primary and secondary medical treatment to estate workers.
• Assess and determine the need for referrals to the Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) or government healthcare facilities.
• Manage and maintain the estate clinic, including proper handling and dispensing of medications.
• Conduct examinations and provide treatment for minor ailments.
• Perform minor surgical procedures, such as lancing and draining of localized infections.
• Develop and implement healthcare programs as planned by the immediate supervisor.
• Prepare and submit monthly medical treatment reports to the District Health Office (Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah) and HQ.
