-MEDICAL ASSISTANT DIPLOMA FROM A DAPIP ACCREDITED PROGRAM. National Certs not accepted.
-Certs: BLS ( AHA or ARC only)
-Education: HS/GED
-**FLU VACCCINE (no exemptions)**
JOB DETAILS:
-Weekend REQ: As needed
-Floating REQ: Yes, within Neurosciences, between neurology and neurosurgery
-NO SCHEDULING REQUESTS CAN BE ACCOMODATED.
JOB DUTIES/ADDITIONAL UNIT INFO/CASELOAD: Patient Diagnoses: Neurology- Parkinson's disease, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Epilepsy/Seizure, CMT, MDA, Headache, Memory/Dementia, Palliative Care. Neurosurgery - brain tumors, neurovascular, spine, pediatrics, pituitary disorders, oncology, CSF leaks, acoustic neuroma. Special Procedures: EMG, EEG, Injections - Botox, trigger point, nerve blocks, skin biopsies, suture/staple removal, 25-ft walk test, FVC/NIF Spirometry
