Medical Director - Main Site and Academic Programs - Mile Square Health Center

Position Summary

The Main Site clinic, Mile Square's largest facility, features 47 exam rooms and offers a wide range of services, including family medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, addiction treatment, midwifery, OB/GYN, optometry, infectious disease, endocrinology, and other medical subspecialties. In addition to direct patient care, the Medical Director is responsible for overseeing provider staff, including managing schedules, ensuring productivity, maintaining quality standards, and handling other provider-related duties.

Additionally, the Main Site serves as a training site for Family Medicine residents, UIC medical students, and addiction medicine fellows. It functions as a continuity clinic for the UIC Department of Family and Community Medicine residency program.
