MEDICAL OFFICER, ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To attend and treat patients who present to the A&E Services.
• To identify patients who require further referral and treatment to the consultant.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Vision and Mission statements, goals, objectives and values.
• Attend all patients, conduct physical examinations and investigate to support diagnosis.
• Consult and provide appropriate treatment.
• Refer to a specialist if necessary.
• Admit patient to the ward when required.
• Fill up the necessary forms to enable patients to seek treatment.
• Attend all emergency cases in the ward until the arrival of the specialist.
• Conduct pre‑employment medical surveillance for the panel companies, if needed.
• Complete medical reports for patients when required.
• Assist and participate in staff training programmes in A&E.
