Position Summary
:
Under the supervision of the Executive Administrative Assistant, this position will be responsible for providing secretarial services to all morgue operations personnel including the pathologists and administrative staff.

Duties:
Maintains an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents relating to the Office of the Medical Examiner.Maintains the chain of custody in the maintenance and transfer of evidence and documentation (including but not limited to photographs, case reports, death certificates, and microscope slides).Performs secretarial duties for pathologists and administrative staff, as required.Answers telephones and records messages.Performs other related duties as required or requested. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of:
Basic accounting and business principles.Medical terminology.
