Function/Role:
Management of permanent works engineering and coordination/development of shop drawings.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- The delivery of coordinated Shop Drawings for MEP elements of the project.
- Review of material submittals ensuring code and project compliance.
- Establishing clear and unambiguous standard to which his/her team is to perform.
- The resolution of conflicts using a 'best for project' approach.
- The update of weekly/monthly tracking instrument (spreadsheets) to provide actual accurate and visual representations of the engineering progress.
- Maintain the Technical folder structure and encouraging subordinates to do the same.
- From time to time the MEP coordinator will be required fill gaps of the delivery team.
- The formulation of coherent clear and concise RFI/TQs formulated to clarify elements of the design that may be unclear or ambiguous.
