Milling Machine Machinist

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Milling Machine Machinist in Palmdale, CA for a one-year contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Milling Machine Machinist will support the tooling department by setting up and operating horizontal and vertical milling machines to machine parts to exacting tolerances. This role requires hands-on milling experience, blueprint interpretation, machine setup, precision measurement, and the ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED.


• Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.


• Knowledge of automated machinery.


• Ability to set up and operate plain, universal, horizontal, and/or vertical milling machines.
