MPT Transmitter Maintenance Engineer

Main Purpose of Job

Working under the supervision of the Chief Engineer for the Transmission & Distribution Engineering
Unit, based out of Owings Mills, MD, the Transmitter Maintenance Engineer will ensure the proper
operation, maintenance, and repair of all facilities and equipment related to the distribution and
transmission of MPT's broadcast signals, including: high power UHF DTV transmitters and related
broadcast equipment; 480V 3-phase power; HVAC systems; diesel generators; and CCTV camera
systems. In support of this, frequent travel to MPT's seven transmitter/tower sites and related
microwave sites, distributed across the state of Maryland, is required.

POSITION DUTIES

Maintain On-Air Operations: Utilize technical skills to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate broadcast
equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless broadcasting.
