Job Description
O‑RAN MAC Development Engineer to design, develop, and optimize 4 G LTE MAC layer components for an O‑RAN–based Non‑Terrestrial Network (NTN) system. The role involves adapting LTE MAC procedures to satellite‑specific constraints while ensuring compliance with O‑RAN and 3 GPP standards.
Strong experience in LTE (4 G) MAC layer development
Solid understanding of 3 GPP LTE protocols :
MAC, RLC, PHY interaction
Proficient in C/C++ programming (real‑time or embedded systems)
Experience with scheduler design , HARQ processes, and RACH procedures
Knowledge of O‑RAN architecture and DU software stacks
Familiarity with satellite / NTN concepts :
Long RTT, Doppler shift, timing uncertainty
Experience with Linux‑based development and debugging tools.<...
