Summary About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center located at Fort Hood, Texas. Responsibilities Continuously observe, monitor, and assess infant's condition; interpret signs and symptoms of deterioration in condition; and take corrective action. Assist the physician with complex and potentially life-threatening procedures such as insertion of arterial and venous catheters, chest tubes and endotracheal tubes. Prepare and accompany infants for diagnostic surgical procedures outside of NICU as well as prepare critically ill infants for transport by ground or air-evacuation.
