+ Recruits, selects and counsels staff.
+ Disciplines staff as appropriate and documents accordingly.
+ Consistently & fairly interprets and enforces Human Resources’ policies & procedures and refers to appropriate person if necessary.
+ Oversees staff and department in-services and orientation.
+ Ensures that all mandatory requirements have been communicated to the staff for compliance.
+ Develops Quality Improvement plan for Unit/area of responsibility.
+ Develops and monitors the budget, prepares variance analysis and evaluates opportunities for cost reductions.
