**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
**Mercy Medical Group (MMG),** a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full time Board Certified OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. + Incoming physicians would be based out of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento
+ Hospital does approximately 1800 births/year
+ 24 hour back-up Ob on-call.
+ Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts.
+ Additional compensation provided for doing additional shifts.
+ Level II nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center
