Occupational Therapist – Complex Cases & Manual Handling

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Complex Cases & Manual Handling Team in Birmingham. The role involves completing complex functional and manual handling assessments, recommending specialist equipment, and developing safe moving and handling plans in people’s homes. You will focus on risk management, detailed intervention planning, and supporting citizens with higher-level needs.

The contract is a 3‑month locum position with a hybrid working pattern, primarily home‑based with one required weekly visit to Sparkbrook, and the role requires an immediate start.

What will your responsibilities be?

Complete complex functional assessments in citizens’ homes across Birmingham.

Carry out manual handling assessments, including hoisting, slings, transfers, and safe‑moving plans.
