Operating Room Technician

Assists in the delivery of patient care by transferring equipment/instrumentation during procedures to physicians. Performs a variety of duties related to the preparation, processing and arrangement of surgical instruments and supplies under the direction of a professional registered nurse appropriate to the ages of patients served.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Graduate of an approved accredited school of Surgical Technology

EXPERIENCE:

1. Ability to maintain/update the computer competencies as required for the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

1. One (1) year of Operating Room scrub experience.
