Operations Engineer - Satellite Control Room

Job Summary

Responsible for monitoring and supporting the safe and efficient operation of the MTerra Solar Power Plant from the Satellite Control Room. The role coordinates closely with the Main Control Room and field teams to ensure smooth daytime operations in compliance with safety and operating standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance using SCADA and other monitoring systems
• Coordinate daily operations, switching, maintenance, and field activities
• Communicate with the Main Control Room, field teams, and contractors
• Assist in basic troubleshooting and elevate operational or safety issues
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and maintain operational reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
• 1–3 years experience in power plant or industrial operations (solar preferred)
