Job Description

Assist in the efficient operation and maintenance of various machinery and equipment aiming to have smooth loading/discharging operations in the specified port/terminal.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the routine pre and post operational safety check over various port/terminal equipment for loading and unloading of cargo from ships, barges, rail, and trucks to ensure efficient flow of port activities.
• Operate the port/terminal various machinery and equipment efficiently to contribute to the smooth flow of cargo and port operations.
• Assist in inspecting the condition of all terminal equipment including ITV, forklifts, Reach stackers, RTG and Bobcat, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance team for repairs and upgrades to ensure the safety of equipment and cargo.
