Orthopedics Physician

The locum tenens Orthopedic surgery opportunity in Oregon

-Duration: July/August 2026 March 2027 (potential for extension)

-Location: eastern Oregon (40 minutes from the airport)

-Schedule: 2-4 weeks per month

-Shift: Monday - Friday 8a-5p (2-3 days in clinic, 2-3 days in OR for procedures)

-Call: evening and weekend call (1:2 - 1:3)

-Patient volume: 16-22 per day

-Scope: bread and butter orthopedics (no spine, no trauma)

-EMR: Epic

-Hospital: 45 beds, 17 medical-surgical beds, Level III Trauma Center, community based hospital services

-Group/support: 4 Ortho physicians, 2 Podiatrists, 1 APP

-Requirements (boards, license): Board certified with an Oregon license or willing to apply (approximately 45 days to obtain)
