Opportunity Description
- Design aerial and underground fiber optic networks (FTTH, FTTx, backbone, and distribution).
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, route maps, splicing diagrams, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Conduct field surveys and feasibility assessments.
- Perform make-ready engineering (MRE) and pole loading analysis.
- Coordinate with utility companies, municipalities, and permitting agencies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as OSHA, NESC, and local/state regulations.
- Review and interpret civil, utility, and right-of-way drawings.
- Use GIS and CAD tools to produce accurate design documentation.
- Support project management with cost estimation and material forecasting.
- Review as-built documentation and ensure accurate record updates.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues during construction.
