Overhead Crane Operator

The Overhead Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating overhead bridge cranes, hoists, and related lifting equipment to move materials throughout the facility. This role supports production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations by ensuring loads are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all safety standards.



Key Responsibilities

" Operate overhead bridge cranes, pendant controlled cranes, and hoists to lift, move, position, and place materials.

" Inspect cranes, slings, hooks, chains, and rigging equipment before each use; report any defects or hazards.

" Follow load charts, weight limits, and proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting operations.
