Opportunity Description
GI Group are working packers with a leading client in the food industry within Hillington Industrial Estate to offer an excellent opportunity for experienced packers/warehouse operators for a position as a packer.
The positions are ongoing temporary working on dayshift
Monday to Thursday - 7:30am - 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm = 39 hours per week = £13.48 per hour
Previous experience of working in food production environment would be an advantage and experience in one or more of the below sections would be preferable but full training will be provided for candidates with transferable skills and the right attitude
The work is physically demanding with, lifting and bending, working to target keeping up with other line workers
From the batch card (e.g. bag weight, type of unit etc.) and using scales, you will be required to accurately weigh-out the appropriate quantities of each finished product and you will be required to accurately weigh-out the ...
