Pathologist Role: Molecular Pathology Expertise

Alberta Precision Laboratories is inviting applications for an experienced Pathologist specializing in Molecular Pathology at their Edmonton facility. This full-time job encompasses both anatomical and molecular disciplines.
Successful candidates will engage in both diagnostic and educational activities, maintaining quality service standards and fostering collaborative relationships. As part of the lab’s mission, you will ensure adherence to performance metrics while guiding medical inquiries and new assay developments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver timely anatomical and molecular pathology diagnoses
• Lead quality assurance efforts and team supervision
• Engage in graduate and postgraduate medical education
• Consult with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases
• Develop and validate molecular pathology tests
Requirements:
• MD with eligibility for Alberta licensure
