Opportunity Description
Locums - A well respected medical center is seeking a Pathologist to assist with sporadic coverage in northern Illinois.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Pathologist
- Start ASAP for ongoing sporadic coverage needs
- Coverage needs include week of August 24, week of August 31, Aug. 13-30, Nov. 24-28, Dec. 29-Jan. 2
- Mon-Fri 8a-5p
- Some dates include on-call for night shifts and 24-hour coverage
- Duties include pathology sign-out, grossing, cytology review, blood smear interpretation, blood bank issues, adequacy checks for FNAs and CT-guided biopsies
- Must be comfortable working independently and managing pathology caseload
- Histotech support available
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- EMR EPIC
- Active IL license & recent case logs required
- Starting rate 200/hr dependent upon experience, mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
