Description We are looking for a dedicated Patient Access Specialist to join our team in Lewiston, Maine. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless admission processes for patients receiving hospital services. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, adhering to organizational policies, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately assign medical record numbers (MRNs) and perform compliance checks while delivering clear patient instructions.
• Collect and verify insurance details, process physician orders, and utilize overlay tools to ensure accurate data entry.
